Catch the break before NetSuite does

You know the drill. You build the CSV, run the import, wait, and then get a wall of cryptic errors that tell you almost nothing about what went wrong. Forty-five minutes lost before you find the one bad date format on row 847.

ImportLens checks your CSV before it touches NetSuite. Structural integrity, data quality, and record-specific business rules, analyzed in seconds and reported clearly.

02 / What It Checks

Three layers of validation

Applied before your file gets anywhere near NetSuite.

01

Structural Integrity

Encoding issues, delimiter problems, inconsistent column counts, trailing empty rows, BOM detection. The things that silently break imports before NetSuite even looks at your data.

Deterministic
02

Data Quality

Non-numeric amounts, mixed date formats, whitespace-only cells in required fields, duplicate external IDs. The data problems that produce cryptic import errors.

Deterministic
03

Record-Specific Rules

Missing entity references, journal entry debit/credit imbalance, missing line items, transaction grouping validation. The business logic that NetSuite enforces but never explains clearly.

Heuristic where noted
03 / How It Works

05 / Who This Is For

NetSuite Admins

Running bulk imports for finance, operations, or migration. You need to know what will break before you waste 30 minutes waiting for NetSuite to tell you.

NetSuite Consultants

Receiving client CSVs that are never quite right. Use ImportLens to triage before you start debugging by hand.

Operations Teams

Managing recurring data loads from external systems. Catch formatting drift and data quality issues before they compound into reconciliation problems.

06 / Honest Boundaries

What ImportLens does not do

ImportLens validates your CSV in isolation. It does not connect to your NetSuite account. That means it cannot check whether referenced customers, vendors, items, or accounts actually exist. It cannot validate custom form requirements, mandatory custom fields, workflow-enforced rules, or account-specific configurations like OneWorld subsidiaries or multi-currency settings.

A clean ImportLens report means your file is structurally sound and free of common data-quality problems. It does not guarantee import success. Account-specific validation is on the roadmap.

07 / Stop Debugging by Hand

Stop debugging imports by hand

Upload your CSV. Get a diagnostic report in seconds. Fix what matters. Import with confidence.
